Headwraps have been part of India Arie's signature look for years. I've always appreciated the colorful cloths tied as turbans, wraps, and geles.  We knew that she wore locs because we saw them in 'Video', her first single. And sometimes we'd see the locs loose and flowing, and sometimes we saw the wraps.

I was surprised when she shaved her head, and I thought she looked ok, but I preferred the wraps or the locs. And last year she let us know that she was back to locs. 

Now Ms. Arie is promoting her new album, Songversation, and she's been wearing headwraps in her promo shots, on her album cover, in interviews with Tavis Smiley, and on Oprah's Super Soul Sunday...but she released a photo last night of  her rocking her hair. It looks adorable!!!
