Nutritional deficiencies may be at the root of your hair troubles. Without proper nutrients, your hair (and body) may weaken over time. Let's do a quick check:

Possible Solution:   Vitamin A

Food Source:          5 baby carrots every day

Possible Solution:   Vitamin E

Food Source:          Almonds, hazelnuts, peanuts, spinach, and fortified cereals




 Problem:                 Hair doesn't hold moisture? Hair is weak/rough/dry? Skin wrinkling? Weight gain?

Possible Solution:   Increasing the intake of alkaline-forming foods

Food Source:          Parsley, almonds, kale, pears, lemons, and apples



Problem:                 Limp hair? Hair loss?

Possible Solution:  Iron

Food Source:         Dried fruits, organic meats and beef, beans, seaweed, and legumes


For overall improvement in for your follicles try to add the following to your diet:  walnuts; sesame; seeds; sunflower seeds; seaweed; pumpkin seeds; beets; beet greens; mushrooms; mulberries; blueberries; raspberries; blackberries; cranberries; apples; pears; peaches; black beans; mung beans; and organic lamb and chicken.

Try to avoid:  fried foods; artificial colors and additives; bleached flour; added sugars; and soft drinks.
