I'm late, but I just found out that Macy Grey has a new(ish) album, appropriately named Covered. There she performs cover versions of songs from Radiohead, Metallica, My Chemical Romance, and Arcade Fire. Macy is bringing a new perspective and her unusual voice to songs created by and for a rock or indie-rock groups and adds a twist of soul. The album has been out since this Spring.
