Did you know that Taliah Waajid has been putting on the World Natural Hair Show since 1997? I attended the show at the Georgia International Convention Center on April 28-29th. Last year there were over 50,000 attendees, and judging from what I saw I'm sure that there were even more this year. I'm glad I went. Beyond having the opportunity to find new products, being entertained, and trying to resist buying more clothes, the vibe was nice. There crowd was bustling. This year's booths seemed more elaborate than in years past and some had stages or were standing structures. There were also ongoing activities including fashion shows, singers, and poetry.

Some of the vendors as Design Essentials, As I Am, and (JML) Jamaican Mango & Lime were doing demonstrations on patrons throughout the day. I also spied bloggers/vloggers, Natural Chica, Curly Girl Lexi of Curls,Coils, and Kinks, Curlkit, author of TGIN, Chris-Tia Donaldson, and heard that CharyJay was making an appearance on behalf of the Entice product line.
