Last week I featured Chaun as one of my Curlfriends. She sent in a gorgeous pic of her fro hawk, and it got so many questions and comments that I asked Chaun for more photos and instructions on how to accomplish the look. Instructions
1. Wash and deep condition hair.
2. Comb damp hair with a wide tooth comb and clip it into three sections (one section for each side and one middle section) using hair clips.
3. Apply your preferred twist gel to each section of hair in to ensure that the twists will hold.
4. Beginning with the section of hair on one side, being parting it for relatively small flat twists.
5. Begin flat twisting the parted hair in an upward motion towards the middle of the head. Pin the completed flat twists with hair pins.
6. Complete the same steps on the other side.
7. Once all of the flat twists are complete, twist the hair in the middle section in medium sized two-strand twists, then pinned in a pin curl form.
8. Dry hair under a hair dryer.
9. Once hair is completely dry, untwist the middle section and finger comb into the desired shape.
