I know that we have to make changes to our hair routines for the Fall and Winter, and I'm writing a post about it, but for now, I'm just writing about all of the wonderful things I can and will use to accessorize my hair during the colder weather.
Princess Headbands! I've seen a few examples of satin headbands with bejeweled center pieces lately. They would look fantastic with simple sheath dresses, and whenever you want to highlight a sophisticated style. I think these can make a fun DIY project.
Fur hats! Ok, some may be over the top, but I think there are easily accessible versions out there that can be worn in your day to day life...

Cloche hats |
These 1920's inspired hats were all over the runway during fashion week. They look really good with riding boots, fitted blazers, trench coats, and skirt suits.
|
Classic Fedora |
The Fedora is still in, and still one of the most versatile hat styles of recent years. Wear it with every and anything, it will look great. From dresses to casual to suited and booted, you can't go wrong with a Fedora!
Honorable mentions:

New beanie... |
People have been killing their knit hats and slouchy beanies over the past few years, and I think I've found an alternative. It seems a little more sophisticated, and very cute.
|
Newsboy cap |
Yay! The newsboy cap is back! I've also seen this categorized as a countryside cap, and it seems that it is no longer just for casual wear. It was styled with various outfits including belted trench coats and fringed skirts.
|
Grosgain headband |
Thicker, more textured headbands are also going to crop up more and more, especially when paired with dramatic updos, bouffants, or French rolls.
