I've had twists in continually for the last two months, and I wanted to give myself a break. It took a few hours to get them out, but I did it! I love twists, and I love figuring out new styles for them every day (or couple of days)....there are some styles that I do that I don't post on my Facebook page and that didn't make it into the book, One Hairstyle, Thirty-one Ways, but the point is that I wanted to do something different for a little while.
I took my loose hair and spritzed it with what I call my refreshing spray (grapeseed oil, rosewater, aloe vera juice, and tap water) and then followed up with a leave in conditioner. I did 12 big two-strand twists and left them in. I pinned them up when I went out yesterday, slept on them last night, and undid them this morning after I put a little oil in them. I will re-doing at night, because I did large twists and didn't use enough product for them to hold the style for more than a day. Here are my pictures:
