So I recently wrote a post about the versatility of the TWA with shaved sides, and it got me to thinking about TWA styles (4 inches of hair or less) that don't require clippers or scissors. Other than wash-n-gos and coil or twist outs, I was thinking....
TWA Faux Hawk
....of a TWA faux hawk. In my mind, it would work by having very thin coils (rolls) or flat twists running along the sides with a two strand twist out on top. I think that would be gorgeous....
Variation.....
I may even want to shape the coils or flat twists so they form a v shape at the back of the head - and you basically have a TWA "haircut" - where you can style the top as desired.

How about TWA corn rows going back to about the crown of the head, or slanted to a point on one side or the other, then a two strand or single strand twist out on the rest of your hair? If you don't like to cornrow, I think that flat twists would make a good substitute.
I'll continue to think about it.....
