So I redid my two-strand twists over the weekend, and I think that they look pretty good. It took a little longer than usual - around 4 hours instead of the usual 3.5 hours, but that was because of the extra steps to re-wet my hair and wash out some of the gel that I used for the coil out. I am glad that I invested the time. I figure that I will be able to do my hair in new styles with only a few minutes of prep time, so in the end I am saving time (I think....). And really, I spent almost that much time over the course of the last few days trying to do the wash and go, the coils, and the coil out!
My new book, One Hairstyle, Thirty-one Ways, features thirty-one two-strand twist styles that I've done over the past year or so, and pictures and instructions on how to do them yourself - check the site for updates: Naturallytwistedhairstyles !!! Additionally I have been doing a completely new style every day and posting them on Twitter - NaturllyTwisted, and I did put up an album with all of the newest styles on Facebook: NaturallyTwisted Hairstyles....check it out, follow me, like the book, friend me....
